About Elan

Elan is a third-generation diamond expert, having learned the trade from his father and grandfather before him. The founder and CEO of The Diamond Guys, Elan Efune, grew up, completed his studies, and began his career in the diamond industry, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Elan and Tracy, together with their family immigrated to the United States, in 2003, when an opportunity was presented to work with a diamond and jewelry wholesale distribution company in California. Within a few years of arriving in the US, Elan expanded into the retail sector and thus began The Diamond Guys in 2006 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Today The Diamond Guys has its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale and has two additional retail locations in Los Angeles, California and Melbourne, Australia.

As leader of The Diamond Guys, Elan is setting the pathway forward as the industry continues to evolve and develop. He enjoys working with clients from all over the country and around the world as they search for the perfect diamond. His expertise in diamond and jewelry sourcing and his extensive network of industry partners are invaluable for clients needing to create the perfect engagement ring or any other beautiful piece!

Elan spends as much of his free time with his family and he enjoys traveling and good food.
