Trade-Up Policy

At The Diamond Guys, we live by the belief that our clients should rest easy and be assured with their purchase. Because we personally and carefully select each and every one of our diamonds, we are able to provide a 100% trade up value for your diamond towards an upgrade.
This is how it works!

When you trade-in your engagement ring diamond, diamond stud earrings of 1.00 ct total weight or more, or a solitaire diamond pendant of 0.50ct or more, that was purchased at The Diamond Guys, towards any new purchase of diamond merchandise (including finished jewelry) you will receive credit for the full original purchase price of the traded merchandise, subject to a maximum value of $50,000, as long as the value of the new purchase is at least double the original purchase price.

Be sure to provide your original documents and trade-in diamonds in the same condition as they were at the time of purchase.

Some conditions to note

1. Trade up credits are calculated at net original purchase price, after discounts, less any sales taxes and setting charges at the time of purchase. The Diamond Guys reserves all rights to determine whether your trade up request qualifies for this offer.
2. If trading a natural mined diamond only GIA graded diamonds qualify for this program. The Diamond Guys reserve the right to remove any trade up diamonds from original mountings for inspection purpose. Damaged merchandise will not qualify. Original grading reports will be needed to conclude the transaction.
3. Lab grown diamonds may only be traded up for another lab grown diamond or lab grown diamond jewelry.
